Mr. Willie Alvin Meredith, age 68, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Atrium Health Union, Monroe, North Carolina. Born February 26, 1955 to the late Gennie V. and James Edward Meredith.

He was proceeded in death in addition to his parents are two brothers, Roy Meredith and Charles Meredith; one sister, Joyce Westfield.

Left to cherish fond memories are five sisters, Dorothy Booker, Mattie (Terry) Moates, Janice (Robert) Holley all of Woodruff, South Carolina, Linda (James) Murphy, Barbara (Kenneth) Watt all of Spartanburg, South Carolina; three brothers, James (Irene) Meredith of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Ben Meredith of Taylors, South Carolina and Dennis Meredith of Woodruff, South Carolina; one aunt, Mable Gray of Baltimore, Maryland; two uncles, Sam Meredith and Elijah Meredith both of Woodruff, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2023 at Beasley Funeral Home of Fountain Inn.

Funeral service for Mr. Willie Meredith will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church, Woodruff, South Carolina. Reverend Vincent Perry officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of his sister and brother in law, Janice (Robert) Holley of 300 Prince Caldwell Road, Woodruff, South Carolina 29388.
