Mr. Willie James Gray, Sr., age 89, of 427 Birnie Street, Apt. 17, Greenville, SC, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026.  Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Elbert Gray and Nora Irby Gray.  He is survived by his daughter, Jackie (Emmanuel) Watson; one brother, Talmage (Leonia) Gray; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2026 at New Durbin Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
