Mr. Willie Cannon Jr. was born in Lumpkin, Georgia, December 20, 1939, a son of the late Willie and Mary Lyles Cannon. He attended school in Stewart County, Georgia, served in the United States Army for 6 years, and retired from Lincoln Electric Products Company in Union, New Jersey, in 2005 after 19 years of service. Mr. Cannon had a passion for rebuilding automobile engines and enjoyed watching National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) racing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Cannon, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.

His brothers, Arthur T Cannon, Lynn Edward Cannon, and Milton Cannon preceded him in death.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Curtisteen Sims Cannon; daughter, Andrea (Paul) Mason of Duncan, SC; two sisters, Mattie Crocker of Columbus, GA and Marjorie Cannon of Orlando, FL.; three grandchildren, Davon Mason of Mauldin, SC., Cameron (Kelsey) Mason of Blythewood SC, Kyah Mason of Duncan, SC, several great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

As per Willie's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
