Mr. William Calvin Sims, Sr., age 79, of 102 Pleasant Dale Court, Fountain Inn, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Brooks Sims, Sr. and Miranda Cheeks Sims. He is survived by two sons, William (Danielle) Calvin Sims, Jr. and James (Trinia) Boyd; three daughters, Daphne Rene Sims, Flora (Lester) Smith and Sara Calwile; one sister, Catherine Finley; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m.,Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with military honors.

Burial will be Monday, February 10, 2025 at M. J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC.

The family is at the home.
