William P. Edwards, 77, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Born in Greenville, William was the son of Roy Baxter Edwards and Ruby Lee Gray. He worked in quality control at Michelin Tire and proudly served in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Orrie B. Edwards; his sons, William T. Edwards Jr. and Drew Baxter Edwards; his daughter, Keyla Patrice Edwards; his sisters, Ruby Lewers, Royce Freeman, Judy Dianne Foster (Dr. Billy Foster), and Penny Henderson (Roger); and his grandchild, Savannah.

Public viewing will be held Sunday, October 18, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Monday, October 19, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Taylors, South Carolina.

Burial will take place Monday, October 26, at 2:00 p.m. at MJ. Dolly Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, South Carolina.
