William Sylvester Donald, [aka Rabbit] transitioned peacefully on Thursday, January 16.

2025 surrounded by family at home, at the age of 80. He was born on November 28, 1944, to the late Wade Hampton & Ella P. Harrison Donald in Pelzer, S.C.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris S. Donald, 3 children, Greta (Stewart), Tony and Velverly, 3 grandchildren, Antoin (Shelia), Mia, Kristen, great grandchildren, Ahmad, Mialani, Alijah, Aiyonna, Christen, Amare, and Adonis. He is also survived by his two Goddaughters Jennifer Burton and Omekula "Meekie" Austin, Brothers James A. (Eunice), Richard (Terry), Freddie (Mike) and Roger, sisters Barbara, Curran and Gloria along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life for William will be held February 1, 2025 at 11:00am at New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 135 New Pleasant Grove Rd. Pelzer, SC 29669.
