Mr. William Dacus Brown, age 86, of 410 Speedway Drive, Fountain Inn, passed away, Thursday, August 13, 2026.  Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Odell Brown, Sr. and Janie Putman Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Lelar Mae Brown; five brothers, Willie (Ruth) Westley Brown, Odell Brown, Jr., Marvin Brown, Thomas (Winnical) Brown and Michael Brown; four sisters, Helen Brown, Patsy (George) Brown Casey, Bermuda Brown and Daisy (Tim) Brown Wardlaw; two grandchildren and four great-granchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park.
