Mr. William S. Boyd, age 89, of 302 Tollgate Road, Simpsonville, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026.  Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late J. Van Boyd and Lethia Abercrombie Boyd.  He is survived by one son, LaVerne Boyd; one daughter, Reesie R. Jackson; one brother, James Boyd; one sister, Louise Boyd; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2026 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Simpsonville.  Burial will follow in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park, Fountain Inn.
