Ms. Willie Pearle Meekins Collie, age 65, of 7004 Radnor Street, Fayetteville, NC, died Saturday, May 31, 2014 at her home. A daughter of Willie Mae Golden Meekins and the late James Woodrow Meekins, Sr., she was a retiree of the US Army. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Collie; her mother, Willie Mae Meekins; one brother, James W. Meekins, Jr. and five sisters, Bessie M. Young, Janie Jefferson, Georgia Johnson, Annie Ruth Riggins and Linda F. Kinlaw. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian K. Scott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites. The family is at the home of her mother, 330 Chapman Road, Pelzers, SC. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
