Mr. Welton "Sugar Daddy"  Mills, age 69, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and formerly of Laurens, South Carolina departed this earthly tabernacle on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 7, 1954, in Laurens, South Carolina, a son of the late Foster and Ellen Abrams Mills. He is survived by his devoted and caring sister Mamie Mills Reid of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home in Laurens, South Carolina.

Home Going Celebration Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Beaverdam Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. O. T. Hill, officiating. Interment will immediately following in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
