On Tuesday February 27, 2019 the lord called home a quiet faithful servant Waymon Anderson. Mr. Anderson was born January 2, 1937 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Mack and Christine Drummond Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a member of the Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church, Duncan, South Carolina. He was a hard dedicated worker for Simpsonville Mills and for Triangle Construction until he retired at the age of 65. Mr. Anderson was an advocate baseball fan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Mae McMahand and Maggie Evans; three brothers, Willie James, Charles and Odell Anderson.
Left to cherish fond memories is his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Teretha Austin Anderson; four sons, John C. (Marion) Anderson of Duncan, South Carolina, William Steve(Janice) Anderson of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Jerry Bernard Anderson of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Gregory D. (Donna) Anderson of Duncan, South Carolina; three brothers W. C. (Frances) Anderson of Taylors, South Carolina, Grover (Crystal) Anderson of Greenville, South Carolina and Curtis Anderson of Gaffney, South Carolina; Eleven grandchildren; Fourteen Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family is at the home of a son, Greg Anderson, 278 Golden Bear Walk, Duncan, SC.
