It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved husband and father, Walter Lee Sharp Jr., passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 surrounded by his devoted and caring wife Mary Moorer Sharp. He was born January 28, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan a son of the late Walter L. Sharp Sr., and Minnie Jackson Sharp.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered by his wife, Mary M. Sharp of the home; one son, Walter (Katrina) Sharp of Charlotte, North Carolina; three daughters, Monia' (Dr. Marshall) French of Greer, South Carolina, Lisa (Michael) Thomas of Middle River, Maryland and Katrina (Sir) Bernard of Hanover, Maryland; five grandchildren; one sister, Emily (Donald) Gay of Detroit, Michigan.

Celebration of Life Services entrusted in the care of Swanson's Funeral Home 14751 W. McNichols Road Detroit, Michigan on Monday, January 16, 2023.
