Mr. Walter Bernard Parson, age 59, 102 Miller Street, Laurens, S.C. passed away, Thursday, March 9,2023 at the Prisma Health and Rehab Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. He is survived by one daughter, Candace Parson (Rodney) Coaxum- Richardson; one son, Walter Bernard Parson Jr.; his parents; Sundra and Allen Smith; two brothers, William Charles (Amanda Beasley-) Davenport, Marcus Parson and one sister, Anjanetta Parson (Reverend Charles) Boyce.

Funeral services for Mr. Walter Bernard Parson Sr., will be held 3 p.m., Monday, March 13, 2023 at the C.D. Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens, with Reverend Charles Boyce officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial Gardens, Laurens. The family is receiving friends at the home of his parents, Mr. Allen and Mrs. Sundra Smith 102 Miller Street, Laurens.
