Mrs. Virginia Scott Hill, age 70, ,of 29 Prince Avenue, Greenville, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown, Greenville. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Inez Scott Walker and Melvin Williams and wife of the late Bobby Hill. She is survived by three children, Valdena Walker Rainey and Nicky Scott of the home and Forlondona Hill of Simpsonville; three sisters, Jannie Saxon of Greenville, Demetria Scott Barksdale of Fountain Inn and Sharon Williams of Greenville; four brothers, Willie (Peggy) Hope of Fountain Inn, John "Pete" (Pinky) Samuels of the home, Melvin Williams, Jr. and Fritzgerald Williams of Greenville; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn, with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
