Mr. Victor M. Hunter, age 62, of 272 Winetta Street, Laurens, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at The Banner Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, AZ. Born in Laurens County a son of Merdis Atterberry Hunter and the late Willie E. Hunter, he was a member of the St. Paul Baptist Church and a former employee of Wal-Mart Distribution Center. He is survived by four daughters, Tamilia Allen (John) George of Riverdale, GA, Ayana Cunningham of Greenville, Wini P. Cunningham of Laurens and Lachandra Barton of Spartanburg; his mother, Merdis Hunter of Laurens; two brothers, Earl Hunter of Pittsburgh, PA and Leonard Hunter of Laurens and two grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday,September 23,2016 at the St. Paul First Baptist Church, with Rev. Larry Chapman officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Memorial Garden. The family is at the home of his mother, 200 Pridmore Street, Laurens. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
