Miss Tonya Matress Cunningham, age 43, of 508 Fleming Street, Laurens, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of Ethel Mae Rice Cunningham and the late Clarence Cunningham, she was a member of the Smyrna AME Church. She is survived by her daughter, Cranisha Cunningham of Laurens; her mother, Ethel Mae Cunningham of Clinton; three sisters, Latasha Nance and Deidra Cunningham of Laurens, Sharlean Cunningham of Kinard and four brothers, Jarvis Cunningham of Waterloo, Mark Cunningahm of Laurens, Harvey Cunningham and Stanley Rice of Clinton. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Smyrna AME Church, with Rev. Sarah Williams and Rev. Herbert Glenn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of her mother, 100 Willard Road, Clinton.
