Mr. Thurman L. Evans, age 74, of 281 Barksdale Road, Fountain Inn, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026.  Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Willie B. Evans and Cleo Barksdale Evans.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Evans; his children, Thurman Lamar Evans, Roderick Evans, Alisha Evans, Trevor (Tiffany) Franklin, Mishone Allen and Monica James; one brother, Randy Evans; one sister, Phyllis Evans(James) Smith; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2026 at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Laurens, SC.

The family is at the home of Helen Barksdale 1655 Thompson Road, Fountain Inn.
