Ms. Sylvia Ann Dorsey, age 70, of 100 Black Powder Court, Piedmont, SC, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown, Greenville. Born in Marion, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late James Dorsey and Bertha Mae Davis Dorsey. She is survived by one son, George (Denise) Elliott, III of Simpsonville; two daughters, Sylvia Michelle Wardy of Taylors and Samantha (Don) Deas of Piedmont; two brothers, Levarn Dorsey of Victorville, CA and Preston Dorsey of Marion, SC; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Fountain Inn, with Reverend S.N. Flint officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
