Mrs. Shirley Mae Beasley, age, 81, of Piedmont, South Carolina was born on October 20, 1940 in Hillsboro, North Carolina to the late Sam Watkins and Alice Wade Watkins. She is survived by two sons, Randy (Betty) Beasley of Greenville, South Carolina and Robbie Beasley of Seattle, Washington; five brothers Sam Watkins of Detroit, Michigan, Jerry Watkins, Benny Watkins, Jesse (Joann) Watkins, and James Watkins all of North Carolinas; three sisters Betty (William) Austin of Greensboro, North Carolina, Ethel (Billy) Tarpley of Green level, North Carolina, and Doretha Watkins of Mebane, North Carolina; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2022 at Flat Rock Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
