Mrs. Shelly Denise Dotson Goldsmith, age 54, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday. May 21, 2024. She was born in Greenville, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Robert Hunter and Ruth Simmons Dotson.

She attended the public schools of Greenville County and furthered her education by becoming a CNA. It was her crafty skills in the area of culinary that gave her hours of joy and great meals for her friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Odis Goldsmith of the home; two daughters, Myricka McCants, and Collette Green; four brothers, David Williams Jr., Roderick Jackson, Grant Hunter, and Joseph Walker; four sisters, Betty Ruth Pressley, Glenda Gail Thompson, Mona Lisa Hunter, and Zipporah Walker; six grandchildren, Akira McCants, Lauryn Logan, Kassidy Parks, Solomon Dendy, Prince McCants, and Kayden Ross.

Home Going Services will be at 2 pm on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Antioch Baptist Church with burial immediately following in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
