Ms. Sharon Greene, of 204 London Drive, Laurens, S.C. passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the Easley Baptist Hospital in Easley, S.C. Sharon was the daughter of the late Jennifer Greene and the late Donnie Smith. She is survived by one brother, Robert Greene of Brooklyn, New York; two sisters, Lisa Greene of Laurens, South Carolina and Sherry Greene of Columbia, South Carolina; two nephews Rondarius Thompson and Reid Allen; one special uncle Albert L. Greene and special cousin Carrington L. Greene who both assisted in rearing her in the home; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Sharon attended Laurens County Public Schools where she was a graduate of the Laurens District 55 High class of 1991. She was accepted into the Art Institute of Atlanta. She worked as a regional manager for Tricon Global Restaurants Inc. and was always recognized for her work ethic. She obtained various certifications from Greenville Technical College.

Sharon was a dedicated member of Celebration Outreach Family Life Center where she was appointed as Church Secretary, served on the Usher Board, Women's Ministry and Food Pantry. Sharon never took her mission lightly of serving others and always personified the love of God everywhere she went.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Sharon. She loved painting, drawing, cooking and being around family who meant the world to her. She loved to laugh and always managed to find happiness in her daily life regardless of what she might have been going through and her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone and she never met a stranger.

Though she is no longer physically with us, "Stink" as she was affectionately called by family and friends, her loving and kind spirit will forever live on in our hearts forever.

Celebration of Life for Ms. Sharon Greene will be held Thursday, February 22,2024 at 2pm at the C.D. Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens, the  Reverend John Booker officiating, with burial to follow in the Westview Memorial Park in Lauren's, South Carolina.

The family will receive visitors at the home beginning on Monday, February 19,2024 from 5-6p.m.
