Mrs. Sarah Maude Jones Workman, age 94, of 39 Jones Hill Drive, Gray Court, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Laurens County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Climson Jones, Sr. and Corrie Irby Jones and wife of the late John Henry Workman.

She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Workman and Phyllis Workman Vinson both of Gray Court; three brothers, Robert Q. Jones of Spartanburg, William (Patricia) Jones and Lewis (Christeen) Jones both of Detroit, MI; four sisters, Annie Eichelberger of Gray Court, Nettie (Joseph) Black of Schertz, TX, Brenda Jones (Samuel) Irby of Charlotte, NC and Sarah (Earnest) Hudgens of Gray Court; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 28, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain I.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Pleasant View Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
