Mrs. Sarah Griffin, age 91, of 7 Vesta Drive Greenville, South Carolina died Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Travelers Rest, South Carolina a daughter of the late Edward Cruel and Martha Hadden Cruel and the wife of the late Raymond Griffin Sr. She is survived by three sons, Leroy Cruel of Easley, South Carolina, Raymond Griffin Jr., of the home and Douglas (Vicky) Griffin of Greenville, South Carolina; two daughters, Hazel Young of Bishopville, South Carolina and Sarah (George) Young of Greenville, South Carolina; one brother, David (Carmela) Cruel of Omaha, Nebraska; three sisters, Doris Baker, Elizabeth Triplett and Nannie (Roy Thomas Allmond all of Greenville, South Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren and seven great great- grandchildren. Funeral services will beheld 1pm Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville Chapel with Reverend J. E. Young officiating. Burial in Mt. Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home.
