Ms. Sandra Dubose, age 84, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025.  Born in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late James Lee Walton and Lillie Bell Flowers Walton.

Also preceding her in death are: and uncle and aunt, Lueda Flowers Montgomery and Lawton Montgomery and five brothers, James Ikey Walton, Bertrand "Bert" Walton, Joseph Stanley Walton, Dennis MIchael Walton and Galen "David" Walton.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Thompson Murray; two granddaughters, Tiara (Sweatman) Black and Ashley Black; one grandson, who was affectionately referred to as her favorite,  Tavares Harris; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie "Rachel" George, of New York and Frances (Donnie) Walton-Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.  Not to be left out are her favorite son, Chris Utsey; a longtime friend, Anne Hailstock and Charlena Durant-Williams and last but not least, classmate, Louvenia "Loukey" Griggs.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn.
