Mr. Sammie Harris, Jr., age 64, of 9445 Highway 101 South, Gray Court, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026.  Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son Wessie L. Workman Harris and the late Sammie Harris, Sr.  He is survived by his mother, Wessie L. Harris; one son, Tavares Harris; one daughter, Ashley Zachary; two brothers, Michael Harris and Willie Harris; three sisters, Debra Harris Ivey, Angionette Harris and Kimber Harris Boyd and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Pleasant View Baptist Church.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
