Greenville, SC – Mrs. Ruth Westmoreland Perkins, 92, of Greenville, died Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Perkins was born July 30, 1934, in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Lee Westmoreland and Lastella Gray. She was the wife of the late Roosevelt Perkins. She worked as a machinist with Union Carbide (Kemet) until she retired.

She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Barbara Bryson (James), Cynthia Perkins and Pamela Perkins; two bonus sons, Karl Bruster (Barbara) and Aaron Byrd; a sister, Mildred Suber; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville.

The funeral service will be held Monday, November 9, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Beasley Funeral Home-Greenville Chapel

Burial will follow at New Durbin Baptist Church Cemetery.
