Ms. Ruby Nell Bruster, of Greenville, South Carolina a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of God passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024. She was born March 29, 1938, in Laurens, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Homer Smith and Janie Cunningham Smith. She was a 1957 graduate of Bryson High School. She retired from Kemet (Union Carbide) after twenty-plus years of dedicated service.

She leaves to cherish many fond memories are her daughter, Kathy (Rochelle) Green of Greenville, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Cherie (Jonathan) Lewis and Gilbert Green, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life and Her Legacy will be at 1 pm, Monday, October 21, 2024, at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville Chapel, with Reverend Willie J. Choice officiating. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Public Viewing will be on Sunday from 11:00 am – 6 pm in the Chapel of Beasley Funeral Home Greenville.
