Mr. Roy Milton Peterson, age 63, of 162 South Woodland Ave, Rutherfordton, North Carolina, formerly of Laurens, South Carolina, passed away on August 4,2025. He is survived by one daughter, Cierra Nicole Peterson; one son, Timothy Madden; three grandchildren; Nevaehia Skyy Sullivan, Ariyah Kami Storm Peterson, and Khaylee Rhayne Peterson; one stepson, Regis Von Perry; three sisters, Mary P. Allen, Sadie Peterson Boyd, Wilhelmina Peterson (Johnny) Gaffney.

Funeral services for Mr. Roy Milton "Fig" Peterson will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Laurens, with Reverend Andy Goodjoine officiating.  Burial will follow at the Calvary Memorial Gardens in Laurens, S.C. with Military Honors.

The family is at the home of his sister Mrs. Mary P. Allen in Hunters Court Community in Laurens.
