Rose Hudgens McKinnedy, age 68, of Easley, South Carolina made her transition on Sunday August 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Laurens County, South Carolina, a daughter of Lonnie Mae Searles Hudgens and the late Zebbie D. Hudgens. She attended public schools in Laurens County, then moved to Greenville, completed training courses, and worked at Union Carbide before joining the Kemet Team. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and supported the church and the community with her time and talents until her health began to decline.

She is survived my her mother, Lonnie Mae Searles Hudgens of Greenville, South Carolina; a son, LaDerrick A. (Andrea) Richardson of Easley, South Carolina; two daughters, Kenica (Timothy) Richardson, Rhodesia (Michael) Richardson, all of Greenville, South Carolina; her goddaughter, Tesha "My Moo-Moo "Nance of Simpsonville, South Carolina; one brother, Zebbie B. Hudgens of Greenville, South Carolina and one sister, Toinette Downs of Fayetteville, North Carolina; ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and one great -greatgrandchild. The family is at 31 A Marble Street, the home of her youngest daughter Rhodesia Richardson.

Celebration of Life and Legacy Service will be held 2pm Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville Chapel with Reverend Lamont Jones officiating. Public viewing will be on Monday from 1-7pm. Interment will be private
