Mr. Roosevelt Word, Sr., age 86, of 371 Thomason Road, Fountain Inn, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025.  He is survived by one son, Roosevelt (Ivy) Word, Jr.; three daughters, Catherine Word, Belinda Word Downs and Sharon Word Glover; two sisters, Roseanna Adair and Lucille Todd; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

There will be a public viewing and visitation Sunday, December7, 2025 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Gray Court, SC

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Gray Court, SC.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
