Mr. Roderick Thayer Bryson, age 59, of 222 Rutherford Street, Greenville, SC, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital, Greenville, SC. Born in Simpsonville, SC, he was a son of the late Henry Bryson, Jr. and Rosemary Spurgeon Bryson. He is survived by one daughter, Rishonn Bryson-Jones of Fort Washington, Maryland; one son, Cy Traynham of Boston, MA; one brother, Henry Bryson, III of Boiling Springs, SC; and four sisters, Diane Moseley of Mauldin, SC, Pearl Dodd and Rhonda Westfield of Simpsonville, SC and Annie Mae Rice of New York, NY, and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Beasley Funeral Home. Chapel, Fountain Inn.
