Mr. Robert Conway Hooper, age 73, of 306 East Arlington Avenue Greer, South Carolina died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his home. Born in Federalsburg, Marylanda son of Iris Magee Hooper and the late George H. Hooperand the husband of Joyce Venetta Mapp Hooper. He was educated in the public schools of Caroline County, Maryland and a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Venetta Mapp Hooper of the home; two sons, Lamont A. (Rachel) Hooper of Greer, South Carolina and Robert C. Hooper II of Greenville, South Carolina; his mother, Iris Magee Hooper of Federalsburg, Maryland; two brothers, Kenneth Hooper of Federalsburg, Maryland and Ralph (Michelle) Hooper of Middleton, Delaware; two sisters, Amlua Hooper and Carolyn Hooper Brinkley both of Federalsburg, Maryland. The family is at the home. Funeral Service will be held10:30 am Monday, May 1, 2017 at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville. Burial will be immediately following services,1 pm at the MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson SC.The Family will receive friends at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville from 9:30 am-10:30 am, one hour prior to the service.
