Reverend Sammie Lee Stroud, IV, age 64, of 109 Rabon Chase Court, Fountain Inn, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026.  Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Sammie Lee Stroud, Sr. and Jessie Bell Workman Stroud.

He is survived by his wife, Renay S. Stroud; two sons, Quinton Stroud and Brandon Stroud; one brother, Thomas Stroud and one sister, Coretta Tucker.

There will be no public viewing at the funeral home.

The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. the day of the service.

The family request that all "ORDAINED" Ministers wear "BLACK" robes.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 12 noon at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church, in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

Burial will be in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.
