Reverend Larry Merrill Sr. age 75, of 363 Quiet Circle, Gray Court, Ora Community, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Joyce Davenport Merrill; two sons, Larry (Tahvia) Merrill Jr., Darrell (Shandi) Merrill; one daughter, Jocelyn (Bobby) Ellis; three sisters, Betty (Rainey) Jones, Diane (Jimmy) Bryson, Elaine Thomas; one brother, Willie(Dorothy) Merrill Jr.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Reverend Larry Merrill Sr. will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Poplar Springs AME Church in Laurens, with Reverend Richard C.K. Harkness, officiating and Pastor Reverend Roland Sigman, presiding. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs AME Church Cemetery with military rites. The Merrill Family is at the home 363 Quiet Circle (Ora Community) in Gray Court, South Carolina.
