Reverend Gladys Marie Byrd Nance, age 75, of 748 League Road, (Ora Community) Gray Court, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 28,2025, at the Hospice House of Laurens County in Clinton, South Carolina.

She is survived by her loving husband, Deacon James R. Nance of the home; one son Nikki D. Nance; one brother, Roy (Debra) Byrd and three sisters, Rosa Pryor, Dorothy (Burnell) Byrd and Emma Dawkins.

Funeral services for Reverend Gladys Marie Byrd Nance will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, November 2, 2025 at the Duncan Creek Baptist Church in Laurens, with Pastor Derrick Barksdale officiating.  Burial will follow in the Duncan Creek Church Cemetery.

Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 12-6pm at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel-Laurens.

The family are receiving family and friends at the home.
