Reverend George Edward Dendy, formerly of Waterloo, passed away in Brooklyn, New York, on Saturday, October 21, 2023. He is survived by one sister Mrs. Queen Esther Cunningham.

Funeral services for Reverend George Edward Dendy will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 1p.m. at the Laurel Hill Baptist Church in Waterloo, S.C. with Reverend Mark Tyler officiating, burial to follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, from 10am until 6pm. The family is at the home of his sister Mrs. Queen Esther Cunningham, of Harris Spring Road, Waterloo, S.C. The Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens is in charge of the arrangements.
