Rev. Dr. Gerzie Burnadette Louise Knox Porter, Chaplain Retired, formerly of 106 Owens Meadow Court Piedmont S.C. took her total leap of faith on Sunday, August 7, 2016. She is joining her late husband David and her children Richard Pelham Bolden Jr. and Shronda Irene Bolden Thomason. She is survived by her mother Alma Irene Smith of Piedmont SC; two brothers John M. Smith of Piedmont SC and David L. Davis of Greenville SC; four sisters Shirley A. Thomas, Ora L. Donald, Carolyn F. Parks of Greenville SC and Claudia B. Smith of Piedmont SC.; three grandchildren and three great-children. Graveside Services will be held 3:00pm Saturday August 13, 2016 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens on Piedmont Highway Apostle Richard Dunbar Officiating. Please come as you are. Per her desires there will be no public visitation. Please omit flowers and make a contribution to your favorite charity or organization. The family is at 105 Arthur Drive, Piedmont.
