Ms. Reba Deloris Smith - Wharton, age 69, died Saturday, June 3, 2023. Born June 24, 1953 in Laurens County, daughter of the late Felton Booker T. Smith Jr. and Willie Mae Smith.

She attended Greenville County Public Schools and was a 1971 graduate of Bryson High School, Simpsonville, South Carolina.

She was employed and retired from Greenville County Schools after 26 years of dedicated service.

She is survived by two sons, Marco (Valerie) Wharton of Mauldin, South Carolina and Bobby Thomas Jr. of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; three daughters, Wakisha Wharton (Undrey), Baneka Thomas and Carima Wharton all of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; one brother, Robert (Emily) Smith of Simpsonville, South Carolina; one sister, Carolyn Wilson of Simpsonville, South Carolina; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Public viewing will be held 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Beasley Funeral Home of Fountain Inn.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, June 9, 2023 at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel of Fountain Inn, officiated by Reverend Paul Wharton.  Burial will immediately follow at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
