Mr. Ralph Copeland, age 80, of 700 Quillen Avenue Fountain Inn, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Richard M. Campbell Nursing Home, Anderson, South Carolina. Born in Greenville, South a son of Beulah Elizabeth Copeland Thomas and the late John Willie Thomas. He attended the public schools of Greenville County and graduated from Sterling High School. He was a veteran of the veteran of the United States Army receiving an honorable discharge. He survived by his mother, Beulah Elizabeth Thomas of Greenville, South Carolina; two nephews, Michael Thomas of Tennessee and Richard (Nichole) Layton of Mauldin, South Carolina; three nieces, Janice (Michael) Caldwell of Greenville, South Carolina, April (Stanley) Davis of Greer, South Carolina and Vanessa Layton of Columbia, South Carolina. Memorial service will be held 2PM Friday, June 2, 2017at the M J 'Dolly' Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military honors. The family is at their perspective home.
