Mrs. Phyllis Cook, age 62, of 5312 Todd Quarter Road, Waterloo, SC, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at her home. A daughter of the late Ed Grant and Mamie Todd Grant, she was a retiree of the Odell Mop and Broom Company and a member of the Laurel Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Willie E. Cook, Sr. of the home; one son, Willie E. Cook, Jr. of Waterloo; two daughters, April Cook and Phyllis E. White of Waterloo; four brothers, Cecil Grant and Price Grant of Greenwood, Eddie B. Grant and Randy Miller of Waterloo; three sisters, Nellie Grant of Atlanta, GA, Olla Lawton of Waterloo, Gertrude Bolden of Greenwood and six grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Laurel Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Herbert Glenn and Rev. Donnie Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
