Pettigrew Thompsons Jr., age 70 of 311 Goldsmith Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at St. Francis Downtown, Greenville, South Carolina.

Mr. Thompson was born in Greenville County March 24, 1953 to the late Pettigrew Thompson Sr. and Ellen Morton Thompson.

He is survived by one daughter, Yolanda (Reginald) Gambrell of Simpsonville, South Carolina; four sisters, Bobbie Thompson and Genevie (Maurice) Redding both of Greer, South Carolina, Bettie Smith of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Misouria (Sanford) Smith of Concord, North Carolina; one grandchild, Colin Gambrell of Simpsonville, South Carolina; significant other, Barbara Dunlap of Atlanta, Georgia; three nephews, Detrick Thompson of Greer, South Carolina, Johnathan Ramsey and Marcus Holmes; one niece, Demetrius Thompson.
