Ms. Patricia Jeanette Kirk, affectionately known as Patsy, was born January 30, 1956 in Baltimore, MD.  She was a a daughter of Ms. Ella Kirk Thompkins and the late Lee M. Floyd, Sr.  Patricia gained her heavenly wings Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Patricia grew up in Laurens, SC.  She was a cheerleader and honor student and a 1974 graduate of Laurens District 55 High School.  To further her education. she attended South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC, where she was initiated into the Beta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  After leaving college, she spent a number of years in New York before returning home to Laurens.  Her lifelong profession was in payroll and accounting and she last worked at Elliott Davis in Greenville, SC for over twenty-five years.

Ms. Kirk was member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church then later she joined Evening Light Church of God in Laurens, SC.  She was a devout woman of God and a strong spiritual pillar of faith for her family

A Memorial Service will be held 12 Noon, Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Evening Light Church of God, Laurens, SC.
