Ms. Patricia Lucille Hellams Edwards, age 62, of 6 June Lane Greenville, South Carolina, died Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at St. Francis Downtown Hospital. Born in Chicago, Illinois a daughter of Rosa Lee Finch Hellams and the late James Burton Hellams. She was a dedicated and vital member of the nursing staff at St. Francis Downtown Hospital. In addition to her mother, Rosa Lee Hellams of the home she is survived by, one son, Stinson Ferguson of Greer, South Carolina; four daughters, Sherie Gamble of Greenville, South Carolina, Emily Holloway of Charlotte, North Carolina, Stinesha (Raymond) Williams of Greenville, South Carolina, and Valerie Edwards of Simpsonville, South Carolina; two brothers, Dennis Lewis of Evanston, Illinois, and James (Lisa) Hellams Jr., of Atlanta, Georgia; seven sisters, Cynthia Reed of Evanston, Illinois, Shirley (Lee)Gordon of Aurora, Illinois, Vernice Wilks of Evanston, Illinois, Marcia Hellams and Pamela Jones both of Gainesville, Florida, Jean Smith of Greenville, South Carolina and Cathy (Greg) Harris of Taylors, South Carolina, and thirteen grandchildren. {In lieu of flowers make donations to the Cleveland Street YMCA Youth program , in the name of Patricia Edwards, a place where her grandchildren spent many summers}
