Pastor Waddy L. Talley, Sr. age 64 of Mauldin, South Carolina transitioned from his earthly home on Monday, June 26, 2023. He was born on February 17, 1959 in Greenville County, South Carolina to the late Ralph C. and Martha Bell Foster Talley.

Pastor Talley served as active Pastor of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church in Gray Court, South Carolina for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Janie C. Talley of the home; two sons, Waddy L. (Tracy) Talley Jr. and Joseph N. Talley; three sisters, Martha Talley Houston of Mauldin, SC, Lula McDowell of Greenville, SC, and Annie Pearl Rodgers of Gaffney, SC; two brothers, George Talley and J. W. Talley both of Greenville; three grandchildren and an abundance of relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 1:00pm-6:00pm at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, Gray Court, South Carolina. *** There will be no Public Viewing held at Beasley Funeral Home**

Funeral Service and Military rites will be held 12:00 Noon on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Reedy Fork Missionary Baptist Church, Simpsonville with  Pastor T.E. Simmons officiating. Burial will immediately follow services in the church cemetery.

The family can be located at the home, 119 Amberwood Lane, Mauldin SC from the hours of 4:00pm until 7:00pm daily.

They will not receive friends at the home, Sunday. July 2, 2023.
