Mr. Ozie Vance Cook, Jr. age 76 passed away on Saturday, April 5,2025 at the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson, South Carolina. He is survived by one Stepson: Kassdearal Smith, one daughter: Christine Bates, one Stepdaughter: Cassandra Smith, one brother: Lindale Cook (Shirley), four sisters: Estell Anderson, Beatrice Yeldell (Clarence), Sara Cook, Edith Dowkin, six grandchildren: seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Ozie Vance Cook, Jr. will be held on Thursday, April 10,2025 at 2pm at the Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens, South Carolina, with Reverend Sylvester Grant officiating, and Reverend Sara Latimore as the presider. The burial will take place on Wednesday, April 16,2025 at the M.J. Dolly Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, South Carolina, with military honors. The family is at the home of his daughter Mrs. Christine Bates 231 Ashley Heights Road in Waterloo, S.C. The Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens, S.C. is in charge of the arrangements.
