Mr. Oscar Melvin Hunter, age 75, of 201 Beasley Street, Laurens, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the Prisma Health of Laurens County, in Clinton, South Carolina. He is survived by one son, Terrance Grant; two daughters, Angela Golden, Tamara (Troy) Evans; one grandchild, Alani Evans and one sister, Sharon H. Young.

Funeral services for Mr. Oscar Melvin Hunter will be held 2 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Springfield Baptist Church in Laurens, with Dr. Bryant Cheek officiating.  Burial will follow in the Calvary Memorial Gardens, with Military rites.

The family is receiving friends at the home, 201 Beasley Street Laurens.
