Mr. Odell Simpson, age 83 of 708 Boyd Rd., Laurens, passed away on Monday, October 24,2022 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Cook Simpson of the home; three sons, James (Fredia) Simpson, Johnny (Carolyn) Simpson, Sedrick Simpson; two daughters, Lenora (Reverend Gene) Talley, Ann (Chris) Foggie; four sisters, Sarah Watts, Ethel Mae (Donald) Foggie, Rose Martin, Rebecca (Johnny) Jenning; 9 grandchildren, one raised in the home Ashley Richardson;sixteen great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Odell Simpson will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, 2 p.m at the C.D. Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens, with Reverend Wilbert Simpson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Westview Memorial Park in Laurens. The family is at the home.
