Mrs. Nezelean J. Johnson, age 81 of 302 Stuart Street Laurens, South Carolina died Wednesday, November 30, 2016. She was born in Union County, South Carolina a daughter of the late Sam Jones and Lillian Thompson Jones. She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia (Randy) Moore of Laurens, South Carolina and Bernice Murphy of Spartanburg, South Carolina; five sons, Marlon Johnson of Laurens, South Carolina, Earl Johnson III of Jonesville, South Carolina, Phillip (Lisa) Johnson of Clinton, South Carolina , Terence (Portia) Johnson of Taylors, South Carolina and Alvin (Judy) Murphy of Moore, South Carolina; one sister, Mamie Rogers of Hephzibah, Georgia; three brothers, Edward Jones of Temple Hills, Maryland, Alfredean Jones of Easton, Pennsylvania and Furman Jones of Jonesville, South Carolina ; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 3p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Mitchell officiating. The family is at the home.
