Mrs. Nettie Henderson Brister, age 80 of Mauldin, South Carolina departed this life on May 23, 2022. Born in Bluffton, Georgia on October 15, 1941 she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Henderson and wife of the late Douglas Brister, Sr. She leaves to cherish memories, one son, Douglas Woodrow Brister, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Shani B. Brister of Piedmont, SC, grandchildren, Douglas Brister III and Camille Brister, two sisters, Mary L. (Charlie) Shedrick of Edison, Georgia and Delonia Starr of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Jimmy (Frankie) Henderson of Albany, Georgia; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral Service for Mrs. Brister will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 31,2022 at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn with Reverend Samuel Flint and Dr. Samuel Neely officiating. Burial will immediately follow services in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Fountain Inn.
