Mrs. Helen Bruce Goodjoin, age 72, of 401 Boyd Avenue, Simpsonville, died Monday, October 8, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland. Born in Fountain Inn, a daughter of the late Minnie Johnson and Pearlie Mae Boyd Johnson, she was the wife of the late Herbert Goodjoin. She is survived by one son, Rev. Herbert I. (Audrey) Goodjoin of Simpsonville; one daughter, Helene A. Bolding of Greenville; two brothers, Sam Erskine (Shelby) JohnsonofSimpsonville,and David (Carmel) Johnson of Fountain Inn; four sisters, Pearlie Mae Gray of Simpsonville, Eldon J. (John) Thomas of Baltimore, MD, Brenda Downs of Simpsonville and Laura (Jimmy) Young of Piedmont; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Center Rabun Baptist Church. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
